I offer the NRA Basic Pistol Safety Course on an appointment only basis, which I conduct at your home, with the live fire exercise taking place at the Cos Cob Revolver and Rifle Club in Greenwich, CT.
I provide my students with the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Handbook and open book test in advance of the scheduled class. You complete the reading and the test taking prior to our class date and obtain your pistol permit application packet from your local police department, so that I can review it and note my instructor information on the application.
At the class, I present all the material that’s covered in the text book and focus on the safety aspects of becoming a safe and responsible shooter; as well as shooting fundamentals such as: breath control, trigger control, sight alignment, position,  components of handgun ammunition, concealed carry strategies, etc.

We also do “hand’s on” detail on the three different types of revolver actions and the three different types of semi automatic actions.
Fee available on request, includes the Basics of Pistol Shooting Handbook, my time, range time, use of my guns, ammunition and targets. There is a per student discount, if more than one student takes the class at the same time.
